FAA Administrator
Marion Clifton Blakey was sworn in September 13, 2002 as the 15th Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration. As Administrator, Blakey is responsible for regulating and advancing the safety of the nation's airways as well as operating the world's largest air traffic control system.
Deputy Administrator Sturgell was sworn in as the 12th Deputy Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration on March 24, 2003.
Chief of Staff President George W. Bush appointed David Mandell to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on September 16, 2002 to serve as Chief of Staff to the Administrator.
